25 Years in the Fitness Industry

Embarking on My Fitness Odyssey

My inspiration for the fitness industry came from an early age, my sport was gymnastics up until the age of 15 years. I was very successful, always coming home with gold medals and I was asked to represent Great Britain in the 1991 Worlds Gymastrada in Amsterdam.

When giving up gymnastics I needed a new sport to use up all my energy, so I went to the local sports centre to do my first ever aerobics class. After attending a variety of classes I decided that I would like to become an aerobics instructor.

I qualified as a Fitness Instructor in 1999 and have always continued to further my skills every year to learn new routines and techniques for my clients. I work within private gyms across West Yorkshire as a fitness consultant, studio co-ordinator and free-lance studio instructor.

I teach classes such as aerobics, step, body conditioning, spin, bodypump, pilates, boxright, circuits, pre/post natal and Blaze. I am a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) qualified Level 3 instructor, I have many other qualifications relating to fitness that I won’t bore you any further with, all you need to know is that I love to help people achieve their goals am dedicated to passing on my extensive knowledge to your health and well being whilst having fun doing it.
